Tab Solution ("we", "us", "our"), run by Aftab Pathan from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, provides business systems, automation and web software, and also offers insurance advisory and distribution services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you share via WhatsApp, phone, or the booking and quote forms: name, business name, phone number, preferred call slot, and the details of your enquiry.
• Insurance-related details when you ask for a quote or policy: age/date of birth, address, nominee details, vehicle or property details, existing policies, and ID/KYC documents (such as PAN or Aadhaar copies) as required by the insurer.
• Health information (medical history, existing conditions) where needed for health or life insurance proposals. This is sensitive data and is collected only with your explicit consent.
• Project information you provide while we build systems for your business, such as workflows, sheets, and process documents.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and device information that your browser shares when you visit the site (see Section 6).

2. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries, schedule calls, and deliver the services you request.
• To prepare insurance quotes, compare plans, process proposals, assist with renewals and claims.
• To send service updates, renewal reminders, and policy-related communication.
• To meet legal, regulatory, tax and audit obligations.
• To improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

• Insurance companies and their authorised partners, only to the extent needed to issue, service, or settle your policy.
• Service providers that support our work (for example WhatsApp, Google Workspace, hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities and regulators when required by law, court order, or regulatory direction.

4. Client business data and confidentiality

For software and automation projects, your databases, spreadsheets, scripts and records are hosted on your own Google Workspace account. We access them only to deliver the agreed work, under a signed Mutual NDA where applicable, and we do not store your private business records on our own external servers.

5. Consent

By contacting us or sharing your data, you consent to its use as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and may limit our ability to provide certain services (for example, we cannot process an insurance proposal without required details).

6. Third-party services and links

Our website loads resources from third parties such as Google Fonts, Font Awesome and Tailwind CDN, which may receive your IP address and device information under their own policies. Links to WhatsApp and other sites are governed by those services' privacy policies.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, or as required by law. Insurance-related records may be retained for the period required by insurance and tax regulations.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and role-based permissions, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive documents on unsecured channels where possible.

9. Your rights

Under applicable law you may ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct or update it; erase it (subject to legal retention duties); withdraw consent; and nominate someone to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

10. Children

Our services are meant for adults. We handle a minor's data (for example, for a family health or life policy) only through a parent or lawful guardian.
